Scriptural Context

The Bible was written through man, directed by the God who created us, to tell us exactly what we are to do to spend eternity with Him. Choosing to ignore it or not believe it has no affect on its authenticity.

  • 1 Corinthians 1:18 (NLT) - The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.
  • Psalm 119:105 (NLT) - Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.
  • Hebrews 4:12 (NLT) - For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

If we believe the Bible is not true, then we can never know which truths are essential for salvation and eternal life.
